The Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer has a new content pack available on Steam called Blood for the Blood God. It’s kind of an oxymoron but that seems to be the point. Also, it looks pretty bad-ass.
The pack features new campaign events that “encourage slaughter across the world” all in attempt to appease the Blood God. It features giants, trolls, dragons and much more.
But wait, there’s more. What would a pack for the Blood God be without copious amounts of blood effect? Blood for the Blood God thus adds a bevy of effects including gore spatter on units, limb and head dismemberment (only for humanoids and non-legendary characters though), explosive gibbing, UI elements soaked in blood and even zombies, skeletons and Grave Guard continuing to fight after being dismembered. These settings can be enabled from the Advanced Graphic Settings menu.

I noticed that my Blood for the blood god 2 isn't active anymore. It worked a few days ago. Game is modded but none of the mods should mess with my DLCs. It also shows up as a downloadable content again although I already bought and used it. Buy Total War: WARHAMMER II - Blood for the Blood God II as a Steam Key. PLEASE NOTE: This Effects Pack is free for players who have purchased Blood for the Blood God for the original Total War: WARHAMMER. It has been added to their Steam library and will downloaded automatically for WARHAMMER II.
